Energy Fortress KN95

This respirator is rated to filter non-oil based particulates such as dust, smog, pollen, and non-vaporized liquid sprays.  These particles may result from sanding, grinding, sweeping, dusting, sawing, and mineral or food processing.

This respirator has been authorized by the FDA under its EUA for use in US healthcare settings by healthcare personnel when used in accordance with CDC recommendations to prevent wearer exposure to pathogenic particulates during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.

The performance standards for this authorized respirator can be considered “equivalent” to US NIOSH N95 standards (filtration efficiency of ≥ 95%) when filtering non-oil-based particles such as those resulting from wildfires, PM 2.5 air pollution, volcanic eruptions, or bioaerosols (e.g. bacteria and viruses).

This respirator can help protect against certain particulate contaminants but does not eliminate exposure to or the risk of contracting any disease or infection, such as COVID-19. No disposable respirator can eliminate such risk.
